The IDF World Dairy Summit 2026 will focus on categories related to 

  • Safety & Quality – Microbiology
  • Safety & Quality – Chemistry & Composition
  • Human Nutrition & Health
  • Animal Health & Farm Management
  • Dairy Science & Technology
  • Environment & Sustainability
  • Marketing & Economics

During poster abstract submission, you would have selected the category most relevant to your abstract. While your poster abstract will be reviewed under this category, the organising committee reserve the right to reassign it to a different category to better suit the programme.

General Policies and Requirements

  • All abstracts must be original work.
  • Abstracts must not have been presented at any previous IDF World Dairy Summit or similar events.
  • Work reporting on research projects is eligible, while abstracts focussed on commercial products or services are excluded.
  • Accepted abstracts are presented as posters at WDS 2026. See the poster guidelines for more information.
  • The Summit is being held in-person. There are no opportunities for online posters presentations.
  • The invitation to submit a poster abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the conference.
  • Posters can only be presented at the WDS 2026 if at least one author / corresponding person is registered.
  • If, after acceptance, none of the authors are able to present their poster due to unforeseen circumstances, it should be withdrawn promptly.
  • The decisions of the poster abstract grading committee are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • All abstracts and posters must be prepared according to the guidelines provided.
  • Accuracy is the responsibility of the author, please ensure you have proof read your abstract and poster carefully.
