Technical Tours
Attendees of the IDF World Dairy Summit will step beyond the plenary rooms on 19 and 20 November for Technical Tours that bring New Zealand’s dairy sector to life through real‑world manufacturing, research, and on‑farm experiences. These tours offer a rare chance to see how innovation, scale, and sustainability intersect across some of the country’s most advanced processing sites and high‑performing farms. Across both days, participants will meet the people driving industry progress, observe cutting‑edge technology in action, and experience the landscapes and communities that underpin New Zealand’s dairy excellence.

Tour 8: Two Farm in One Day TourPlease note:
- All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include Goods and Services Tax of 15%
- Some tours are available on both Thursday 19 November and also Friday 20 November 2026.
- Itineraries are subject to change, and if not fully subscribed may be cancelled
- Flights to Palmerston North (Manawatu) or to Christchurch (South Island) can be purchased as a one way (luggage included) then own arrangements to travel throughout New Zealand.
- Bookings will be managed through a 3rd party please review the terms and conditions here.
- For farm visits, due to biosecurity rules in New Zealand if you have been on a farm or in contact with livestock outside of New Zealand within 7 days of your visit, please inform us before your visit.
Cancellation
- We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to low numbers or adverse weather. This will be advised by Monday 21 September 2026 allowing delegates to change to another tour or a full refund will be provided.
- Technical Tours with flights cancelled before 20 July 2026 will receive a refund less $150, flights cancelled after 20 July 2026 will not be refundable. Please note this is additional to the general conference cancellation charges.
- Technical Tours with coach only tickets cancelled before 18 September 2026 will receive a refund less $50, bus tickets cancelled after 18 September 2026 will not be refundable. Please note this is additional to the general conference cancellation charges.
