Dr Ruben de Vries

Manager, Innovation & Business Development

Ruben de Vries has over 10 years of experience in the field of dairy quality and safety, both from an academic as well as from an industry perspective. He is experienced in risk assessment throughout the dairy production chain, contaminant monitoring, and milk composition and quality analysis.

In his position as Manager Innovation & Business Development at Qlip, he directs an innovation programme in the field of laboratory analysis and safeguarding programmes. Previously, he worked as Research Coordinator for the Dutch dairy sector. He obtained a PhD in Dairy Science, working on the interface of cow management and milk composition.

Within the International Dairy Federation (IDF), Ruben de Vries is deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Residues and Chemical Contaminants, and Action team leader of the IDF Knowledge Platform on Emerging Chemical Contaminants.
