Prof Catalina Castro Almeyra

Professor

Prof Catalina Castro Almeyra is pursuing a PhD in Communication. She holds a degrees in Social Communication and Philosophy, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Political Science and Sociology. She is an undergraduate and postgraduate professor at the Universidad Austral’s School of Communication.

Since 2017, she has coordinated the Communication and Agribusiness platform, an interdisciplinary training and research initiative involving the School of Communication’s postgraduate division and the university’s Center for Agribusiness and Food.

Since 2024, she has coordinated the School of Communication’s "In-Company" programs and is a member of the Universidad Austral’s research and knowledge transfer team.

For eight years, she managed institutional communications and edited the specialized journal for the Chamber of Milk Producers of the western of Buenos Aires (CAPROLECOBA).

She has worked as a consultant in strategic communication and content creation and has contributed to media outlets.
